FAQ
How quickly will I receive the recording?
For smaller projects I typically deliver within 24 hours, often on the same day.
If a project should take longer, I'll let you know right away – I generally respond to enquiries very quickly.
For larger projects such as audiobooks, we'll agree on a delivery schedule individually.
What if I'm not happy with the recording?
For directed sessions, we keep working until you're satisfied.
If I record independently, two rounds of revisions are included should you want adjustments to style or emphasis.
Can I be present during the recording?
Yes – you're welcome to listen in live, for example by phone or via common online tools such as Teams.
For particularly high audio quality I also offer sessions via SessionLinkPro. Studios can connect directly through my APT IP Codec.
What happens if changes are needed afterwards?
Minor text changes are possible at any time.
Depending on the scope, I charge a fair revision fee. If the entire text needs to be re-recorded, this is typically around 50% of the original project value.
Do I need to book a recording studio?
In most cases, no – I work in my own professional home studio.
With a dedicated voice booth (Studiobricks Pro) and high-quality equipment, I deliver broadcast-ready audio quality.
That said, if you're based in the Munich/Augsburg area, you're welcome to book me into a studio of your choice.
What services can I choose from?
You can choose whether you'd like fully produced recordings – including editing, optimisation or synchronisation to video – for projects such as advertising, e‑learning, corporate films or audiobooks. Or keep it simple: an unedited raw recording is often all that's needed.
In what formats are the recordings delivered?
I deliver files in all common formats, e.g. WAV or MP3 – exactly as required for your project.
What language is offered? Is a dialect possible?
I record in German – in clear standard German or, on request, in a Bavarian dialect.
If you're unsure which accent best suits your project, feel free to ask – I'm happy to advise.
What is a buyout – and what role do usage rights play?
Usage rights are a factor in every commercial voice recording: Where will the recording be used, for how long, and to what extent?
The weight this carries in pricing varies by project type. For advertising – such as a radio spot or TV campaign – usage rights are a significant factor. For projects like e‑learning, they tend to play a lesser role.
Can I send a demo script before booking?
An informal enquiry is always welcome – just drop me a message.
How does the collaboration work?
Nice and straightforward:

3. Once approved, I record the voice-over

Payment is made via invoice including VAT.

YouTube with Enhanced Privacy
This website embeds videos from YouTube. The operator of the pages is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
